Today for the SLJ I made music, all I did was take 3 cups and fill them up with water but different amounts of water. I think the music came out could but tell me what you think in the comments. I hope you guys like it! 

My Summer Collage

Today for the SLJ I did a Summer Collage, it wasn't that hard to get the photos but it was hard fitting them all in. My favourite part of summer is going to the beach but i'd prefer winter over summer because i'd rather stay home drinking hot chocolate than go out to the beach. I would want to go to the beach sometimes but most of the time stay home. I hope you guys like my summer collage!

 

33 legs

 Kia Ora bloggers, today for the SLJ activity I had to draw a girl, boy, snail, crab, dog, ant and a spider. It was hard because I am not that good at drawing but I manged to get pretty good results. The hardest one to draw was the crab because it was big and took up a lot of space. The easiest one to draw was the snail and the spider. I had to use both of the sides of paper because there wasn't enough space for the girl, boy and snail. I had to draw all of this and add it up to 33, the video for the dog didn't include the 4th leg so I drew it myself. The numbers on top are how much legs the animal has. I hope you guys like it! 

  

Point perspective art

 Kia Ora bloggers, today for the SLJ I had to do a point perspective art. It was really fun and not that hard to do the shapes. I couldn't find any colouring pencils anywhere so I left it plain white. I liked drawing the lines and how when I drew each line it looked more and more 3D. I hope you guys like it!

Flip book

Kia Ora bloggers, today for the SLJ task I had to make an illusion. I decided to make a flip book, a flip book is an illusion because the flip book is just heaps of the same drawing's but different things are changed every time you draw the next picture. Mine was about a man waving, really simple because this was my first time doing it. I think it took me 2 hours but I finished it, here is a video.

Make a boat

 Kia Ora bloggers, today I made a boat and put it on water to see if it would float. I put a little sail on the boat to try and make the wind blow on it so the boat would move but sadly that didn't work but the boat did work. I made it out of foil because I couldn't find anything around my house that would be useful to make a boat out of. I hope you guys like it.

When I am 17....

Today for the SLJ task I did a template of what I think I am going ti be doing at this age. The ages are 17, 34, 51, 68 and 85. I learnt about cicadas as they have a really long timeline. They come out of the ground every 13, 17 years. They may look scary with there big red eyes but there harmless. There like straws, they drink from plants, that ow they can be underground for a long time. Here is my poster about what I think I m going to be doing when I'm 17, 34, 51, 68 and 85. 

Beat making - SLJ

today for the SLJ task I had to make beats. I made three beats and recorded them but kept pausing to get the other stuff for the next beat. I had to use weird things to make good beats. I used 2 rocks, peanut butter jar, plastic plates, empty coke bottle, plastic and a sugar jar. I hope you guys like the beats I made. ( Don't mind the background noise, it's my brother ). The last 2 weren't really beats.

SLJ Make something float

today for the SLJ task I had to make something float in water. I got a lunchbox and filled it up with water for the sea and then put a lunch box lid inside of it but a more smaller one. I got a piece of foil and wrapped it so there wasn't any air bubble and it sank. Then I got another piece of foil the same size as the other and made it into a little boat, it floated. For things to float on water there has to be an air bubble inside for it to float. Metal can't float but boat can, boats are made from metal so how will they float? They float because inside all the metal is actually filled with air. Here are the photo's of the things floating. 

 

Forced perspective

Kia Ora bloggers, today for the SLJ task I did a photo shot. I had to do a forced perspective photo, a forced perspective photo is making something small look big or something big look small just depending on where you put your phone angle. Here are the photo I did, my brother helped me.

SLJ - Draw a Geometree

Today for the SLJ task I made a Geometree. You basically just draw a bunch of lines on a tree looking figure then turn those lines into triangles. I have different shades of blue on mine because I couldn't find a blue colour that was working. The hard part was colouring it in because there were a lot of triangles that had to be coloured in. Here is a picture of it. 

SLJ - Spread the word

Today for the SLJ task I did a Spread the word task. There was stuff like a blog that made you laugh, a blog that was creative and more. I was looking through a lot of blogs and there were AMAZING ones but I could only chose a few. Here is the slides to what I commented and the blog post. 

SLJ Make your own hoop and ring gliders

Today I did a SLJ week 1 task. The task was making different kinds of rockets. There was the hoop, ring gliders and a normal plane. The plane went farther than the others but the ring gliders were really close. The ring gliders span in circles while the hoop just went all the way down to the floor. Blob opera

today i explored Google arts and Culture and bit and found a cool game called blob opera. It's a game where you can make opera songs by yourself with blob's. It's really cool and fun to play with, here is the link if you want to check it out. Here is the link to the song I made. You can even go on tour to London, new city mexico and more. You can even record your songs and share them with people. I hope you have fun trying them out. 

Visual Crossword

today on my classes google meet we went on google arts and culture and did Visual Crossword. It was easy on the first level but when I got higher it started getting harder. I don't know exactly how much levels there are but I got up to level 6. It's really fun and it helps you learn all types of art. Here is the link if you want to check it out. 

SLJ Teaser

Kia Ora bloggers, today on my classes google meet we did a Summer Learning Journey Teaser. The activity was doing digital colouring. It was fun doing this because I got to pick out the colours I wanted instead of me having to put this colour with the right number like the digital colouring games. Here is the link to the colouring. Real or fake?

Kia Ora bloggers, today on our cybersmart google meet we learnt about what was fake and what was real. For an example we saw this pilot that was on a plane in the sky and we had to guess if it was really real or fake. It was fake, obviously but the photo was still taken on a plane just while taking off. The photo wasn't taken in the air. I have a photo of myself in a jungle, guess if it's real or fake and if it is fake tell me if it looked to you for a minute. 

What is media?

 Kia Ora bloggers, Thursday this week all the seniors had a cybersmart lesson online. We were learning about what is media, our cybersmart teach Phil told us a bit about what bill boards, adds and other stuff make us do. Then we did our task, I joined a bit late so I don't know if I did this right but he said we could either use word art, google docs or google sheets. I choose word art, we had to put what media we go on and the bigger the text the more we go on that app, I think. I hope you guys like it.

Favorite part of Lock down

Today I am going to be telling you my favorite part of lock down. We were in lock down for 3 months so there's a lot I could have done and I did do a lot like garden, read, write and more but my favorite thing was on my brothers birthday. My brothers birthday was in lock down like last year but we still had heaps of fun. 

We had a BBQ and played lots of games, my mum and older brother were grilling chicken and sausages, while I was playing with my other brothers/the birthday boys. 2 of my brothers were born on the same day but different years so they had to share birthdays which they did not really like. We played tag ,hide and seek and find the items. 

We made up the game find the items because we were getting bored. We went on a car ride to get some things, and then came back somewhere around 1:00pm. By 2 or 3pm the food was ready and we went inside to eat, we sang them happy birthday and my mum kept relighting the candles so she could get my brothers blowing the candles. Then we ate, cleaned up and watched a movie. 

Picasso Drawing

 Kia Ora bloggers, today on our class google meet we played stop the bus and did a scavenger hut. We also did a Picasso Drawing, we used a Picasso face chart and a dice. We rolled the dice and whatever number we got we had to look at the chart and and see what eye or mouth it was. Here is mine.
