Flip book

Kia Ora bloggers, today for the SLJ task I had to make an illusion. I decided to make a flip book, a flip book is an illusion because the flip book is just heaps of the same drawing's but different things are changed every time you draw the next picture. Mine was about a man waving, really simple because this was my first time doing it. I think it took me 2 hours but I finished it, here is a video.

  1. Kia ora Keti. Ka pai, your flip book looked awesome. I guess this is one of the only ways people could do animation before we had TVs and things like Scratch and Google Slides. How do you think it compared with the animation you made for our film festival?

Well done on completing this Nanogirl task! Did you enjoy it? Wow, two hours is a lot of effort put in. Pai mahi! Thank you for describing what the illusion is, and how it works also. It does take a while to get right, because like you say it is a lot of little changes. But super effective when it works!

Looking forward to seeing what else you post!

    Ngā mihi,
