Point perspective art

Kia Ora bloggers, today for the SLJ I had to do a point perspective art. It was really fun and not that hard to do the shapes. I couldn't find any colouring pencils anywhere so I left it plain white. I liked drawing the lines and how when I drew each line it looked more and more 3D. I hope you guys like it!

It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It is fantastic to see that you have created a one point perspective, I really appreciate and enjoyed the different shapes that you have used. We really enjoy seeing your creativity. It would be awesome to have seen it in color, however, I really enjoyed the shapes that you used and it was cool to see that you drew a wonderful star in your image. I used to struggle with drawing stars when I was younger. Thank you for sharing your mahi with me and your fellow bloggers you should be proud of your 3-D mahi.

Interesting fact is that it was Filippo Brunelleschi an Italian architect in the 1400s that explored one point perspectives. What advice would you give your fellow bloggers who would like to give this a go?

Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!

    Have a Super Summer!!!

    Ngā mihi,
    Quein

  2. Kia ora Keti,

Wow! This is an awesome perspective image, well done completing this activity. Great to hear you enjoyed drawing the shapes for this image!

Well done thinking about what lines you added and how 3D it looks, very impressive! Perhaps one day you can colour it in?

Have you created art like this before? It looks like a lot of fun creating the shapes that all join at a point, maybe i will have to try it!

    Keep up the awesome mahi.

    Ngā mihi,
    Lauren

  3. Ka pai Keti. These shapes look great. Do you think this skill will be useful for your future art creations? Even if you have no colours you could always try some shading. I used to love doing cross hatching to shade even with a pen.
