SLJ Kowhaiwhai

Kia Ora Bloggers, Today here I have made a Kowhaiwhai. If you don't know what it is, it is a Maori art, they are a way to tell a story and each has a meaning. Kowhaiwhai patterns are painted in a whare tipuna ( Meeting House). I hope you guy like my post!

  1. Kia Ora Keti,

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I thought the Kowhaiwhai pattern that you designed was awesome!

I think that background that you used for your design is super cool! Purple and blue are my favourite colours, what are yours?

I thought that this activity was really fun and creative! What was your favourite thing that you learnt about Tānerore?

I hope to see you continue to take part in the Summer Learning Journey this summer and look forward to seeing your posts in the future!

    Ngā mihi nui
