SLJ DIY Microphone

Kia Ora Bloggers, Today I made a DIY Microphone. IF you guys want to make your own at home just follow these steps because it is very easy!

What you will need:

You will need to have 3 cardboard cups and something that can make tiny holes.

What you will need to do:

You will first need to get the 3 cups and put a hole on the bottom of the cup on each of the cups! Then stack then on top of each other, you don't have to do this but what I like to do is put a tie that you use for your hair on the cups. Then once you finish doing that you can add little holes at the bottom to make your voice got more to the left and right. Here is a photo of my DIY Microphone I made.

I hope you guys have fun with your DIY Microphones and also make sure to only use it outside. You guys can use it inside as well if it isn't that loud!

  2. Kia Ora Keti,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

What a fantastic blog post! I love how you’ve described the process of making a DIY microphone in such detail. It’s easy to follow and will definitely help your readers make one at home. Ka pai! I’m also impressed at how you gathered the materials to make it.

What sort of experiments do you think you’ll be using your equipment for in future SLJ projects? What things around the classroom and home do you think you could use to build science experiments?

Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)
