Metaphor

Kia Ora bloggers, today my class and I learned about metaphors. A metaphor is a word or phase used to refer to another thing. For an example: It's raining cats and dogs and This is the icing on the cake. It's raining cats and dogs is referring to the rain outside raining really hard. The icing on the cake is referring to the best thing. That's what a metaphor is, everyone in my class had to think of a metaphor or use one that my teacher had used in the lesson. I chose my own, the children who wanted to share could share but the children who didn't, didn't have to. Here is mine, you guys can guess the metaphor.
