What is media?

 Kia Ora bloggers, Thursday this week all the seniors had a cybersmart lesson online. We were learning about what is media, our cybersmart teach Phil told us a bit about what bill boards, adds and other stuff make us do. Then we did our task, I joined a bit late so I don't know if I did this right but he said we could either use word art, google docs or google sheets. I choose word art, we had to put what media we go on and the bigger the text the more we go on that app, I think. I hope you guys like it.

Favorite part of Lock down

Today I am going to be telling you my favorite part of lock down. We were in lock down for 3 months so there's a lot I could have done and I did do a lot like garden, read, write and more but my favorite thing was on my brothers birthday. My brothers birthday was in lock down like last year but we still had heaps of fun. 

We had a BBQ and played lots of games, my mum and older brother were grilling chicken and sausages, while I was playing with my other brothers/the birthday boys. 2 of my brothers were born on the same day but different years so they had to share birthdays which they did not really like. We played tag ,hide and seek and find the items. 

We made up the game find the items because we were getting bored. We went on a car ride to get some things, and then came back somewhere around 1:00pm. By 2 or 3pm the food was ready and we went inside to eat, we sang them happy birthday and my mum kept relighting the candles so she could get my brothers blowing the candles. Then we ate, cleaned up and watched a movie. 

Picasso Drawing

 Kia Ora bloggers, today on our class google meet we played stop the bus and did a scavenger hut. We also did a Picasso Drawing, we used a Picasso face chart and a dice. We rolled the dice and whatever number we got we had to look at the chart and and see what eye or mouth it was. Here is mine. 

Back to school

Wednesday this week we went back to school. It was optional for the parent if they wanted there kid coming to school or not. My mum wanted me to go to school, we have to wear masks everywhere if were in the school. I got to see some of my friends because most of my friends stayed home doing online school. I played a lot of games like musical statues and try not to say yes. Here's a photo of all the people who came yesterday. 

Brainstorm about me

 Kia Ora bloggers, today my classes google meet we all did a brainstorm about ourselves. We wrote out family members, our appearance,  habits,  our dreams, personality and hobbies. 

Storm Animation

 Kia Ora bloggers, for a few days I have been working on an animation. It wasn't that hard expect having to duplicate all the slides. My favourite part of making my animation was doing the storm because I got to colour the backgrounds different shades of grey and I got to see the end results that looked good in my opinion. Alien's experience on earth

Kia Ora bloggers, today on my classes google meet we did writing. We had the choice to chose to do an Aliens experience on earth, a holiday or Charlie and the chocolate factory. I chose an Alien's experience on earth. We had to have at least one Metaphor and simile in your writing. I have a couple, I hope you guys like it. 

My Writing-

I was sitting in my UFO watching the stars. They were as bright as the sun, while I was watching the stars my UFO malfunctioned and I had to land on the nearest planet and that planet was planet Earth. I landed in what seemed to be a backyard as human’s call it. It looked clean and was very quiet until suddenly human’s came out of the door.

I hid in my UFO while the human’s inspected it. Just as they were about to enter it started raining out of nowhere. I heard the human’s shout “Get inside it’s raining cats and dogs”. I got confused as I saw there were no cats and dogs. I didn’t even know what cats and dogs were until I saw two hairy things come out of the door. I heard a human call out “Janie where are the dogs”, then I realised that the things outside with me are dogs.

I got out of my UFO to say hi when the dog started barking for no reason. The dog was as loud as a siren. The dog looked like he had a heart of gold but he was terrifying, like my mum when she was mad at my dad for not doing the dishes and making dinner. I Heard on earth the dad goes to work and the mum stays home but for alien’s the mum goes to work and dad stays home, because the mum's stronger. I hopped back in my UFO and stopped at a store called McDonalds, I guess they gave me a discount because when I entered they gave me everything for free. Humans are so nice, I’ll make sure to visit again soon but with all my friends who are on Mars!
