Kia Ora bloggers, welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be doing another SLJ task. This task is just listing things you would bring with you if you were going camping. I have listed 10 things I would bring with me so I hope you guys agree. Also put in the comments 10 thing you would bring!
1. A tent
2. Sleeping Bag
3. Food
4. Boots and Running Shoes
5. Camping chairs
6. Water Bottle
7. Pillow
8. Flash light (if needed)
9. Clothes
10. Blanket
Step up task
Now time for the step up task. For the step up task you have to make your own camping gadget. So what I made was a watch with other things than just the time. On the top of the watch I have put little lights around it Then in the middle you can set alarms for any time. Then on one of the sides you have a laser that is the red dot and to turn it on and off there is a green button. Then on the other side there it the time. I hope you guys like it and have a great rest of your day!
Mōrena Keti,
ReplyDeleteIt’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I thought the work you have done on the ‘Camping Hacks Kick-start and Step-it-up?’ task was great!
I really liked this activity because it reminded me of all the times I used to go camping with my family and friends! I even went camping with school sometimes. My favourite place to go camping was the Kai Iwi Lakes, have you heard of it before? Where do you like to go camping?
I think that the 10 things you decided on taking camping with you were all great ideas. I think your list looks very similar to what I would bring if I went camping. If you could pick one more thing to bring what would it be?
Your invention looked awesome! I am just left wondering what the green button on the side (next to the laser) does? I am excited to find out.
Ngā mihi nui

Hey my name is Kali,
ReplyDeleteI really like all the features you use for your watch. Next time you should try making a different gadget. This reminded me of when I did this task. What other gadgets do you think yo could make? I wish you the best!
