Te Reo Maori Task

Kia Ora whanau, Here are some Te Reo Maori words I have wrote. These Maori words are furniture in the bath room like for an example Heketua is a toilet in Maori. There are also some sentences that you can use in the bath room.



Te Reo Maori

Heketua- toilet
Wharepaku- room with a separate toilet (not the actual toilet)
Hirere- shower
Tapu- bath
Wheru- toilet paper
Whataata- mirror
Tauera- towel
Korere wai- tap/faucet
Puoto- sink/basin
Hopi- soap


Some sentences using these kupu’s

Titiro ki te whakaata= Look at the mirror.
Tukua to wai= Flush the toilet.
Horoia o ringaringa= Wash your hands.
